I have a 1978 77ST 30/06 that I'm thinking about putting a 30/06 target barrel on along with a microfit stock. It has been said that pre-1980 actions sometimes crack although Ruger didn't seem worried about putting a standard barrel on it . I'm wondering what kind of accuracy I can expect, with...
