    Well I found them on Ruger.com. Size 6/40. They sell an upgraded version with Hex heads for $6.95 for 8 screws. I should have known to look there first.

    .243 has always performed for me. Shot placement is very important but I think bullet selection is most critical. I only use hand loaded 100gr. Hornady or my go with my favorite the Nosler Partition for everything. I think this caliber, properly loadEd with the right bullet will take anything...
