Welcome aboard! As far as Ruger revolvers go, you can't go wrong starting off with the iconic hand canon, a nice used Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum with the iconic 7.5" barrel (the best shooters too). Need some help with a red dot mounting plate for the Mark IV
Older post, but might as well throw this out here. The MaddMacs Center mount 2.0 is low profile and a good looking mount It works well with the Mark IV and a Holosun. MaddMacs has a few variants to choose from.- arcticruger
