Shoot, anybody wants to PayPal me $300, I'll cover anything my FFL charges me to ship it. You'd still need to handle the FFL transfer on the receiving end. I'm carrying my Colt Gov't 1911 EDC nowadays, and this little guy just sits in the safe.

I believe my FFL ships UPS, and I believe by policy, it has to ship Air (I'm guessing it's easier to control and track that way). UPS website calculator puts it about $30 to ship to Baton Rouge UPS 2nd Day Air, which is the cheapest Air rate they give. Fedex 2-day looks to be just about the same...
