I spoke with Cindy @ Ruger this afternoon and she informed me that spec for both the super Blackhawk and super redhawk in 454 casull are .453-.456 throats

I did not load these bullets myself as I'm having trouble selecting a size they were factory loads. I'm trying to get all the info I can so I can select the proper mold and sizer. I was originally thinking about the lee 452 300 rf but not sure if it will drop bullets big enough for my chambers...

Hello all I am new to casting and having trouble selecting a bullet size. I've measured my throats at .4555 and my bore is .451 so I'm guessing a .455 bullet is what I need however all the dies I see are mostly .452 not really sure what my best option is thanks for any help you can give
