I'm looking for a revolver scope base that would mount in place of the rear site I understand weaver makes one and does it require removing the rear site?
Thanks I didn't think it was to serious. The gate's bearing surface seems to be rotating correctly against the spring, maybe not enough resistance there. I have some small jeweler files that should work. I don't think I will use anything mechical.

Had mind about 2 months and been reloading for it about one month. Short barrel balances good and points fast. I wasn't ready for full power loads though, started using a shooting glove and it helps but I've loaded some reduced loads for practice.
Sold my encore rifle and purchased the revolver...
