    Ruger American pistols.

Could be a nice offering with potential. I do wonder why they made the take down lever look like the tailgate off a really old Dodge pickup truck. Other than that it looks good.

. 22 mag autos, wish Ruger still made them

I have the Excel Arms 22 magnum rifle. So far I have found it to be accurate and 100 percent functional. Rifle is fun to shoot but the scope they sell in a cheap POJ. I put a Nikon rimfire 3-9 on it and it works great.

New to Me Mark III 22/45 Threaded Barrel

Like mine a lot once I improved the trigger by getting rid of the mag disconnect with a Sam Lam bushing.

    .22 Mag autoloaders

I have one of the PMR-30 guns from Kel-Tec and it is fun to shoot. While I don’t consider them a top tier manufacture some if their stuff is fun and reliable. I do like the 22 mag round and recently purchased a semi-auto rifle from Excel Arms out in Ontario California. Is an interesting looking...

    Threaded 10/22T barrel

I used a standard 10-22 new take off barrel my gun pusher had around his shop. Their gunsmith threaded it for me and I use it with an Outback II suppressor. I have only shot it out to 50 yards but it is as accurate as any standard 10-22 factory barrel. I saved my standard barrel that came with...

im sure this is a stupid question...

I tried to find a 10-22 mag rifle for a while without luck and during my search was informed of Accel Arms out in California. They make a 22-mag semi-auto rifle that I was told works even though it is a lot different from a Ruger. I bought one and it works great with about 200 trouble free...

Gonna have to install the mag safety eliminator.

Yes, and it also improves the trigger feel. I installed a bushing from (Sam) and it eliminated the very annoying “catch” I had in the trigger during take up. I had sent the gun back to Ruger and they did not fix the “catch” so I did the bushing. Trigger is great now and no disconnect.

    Magazine disconnects---yes or no

I believe magazine disconnects came about years ago at the request of police departments who were concerned with officers loosing their guns in a struggle. It is not unheard of for an officer to lose his gun to a bad guy in a fight and then get shot with it. The thinking is if an officer in a...

    Ruger Mark 111 mag disconnect

I agree it was great dealing with Sam. I installed his bushing on my Mark III 22-45 that had already been back to Ruger once for a terrible “catch” in the trigger without much improvement. Sam’s bushing got rid of the mag disconnect and the annoying “catch” in the trigger.

    SR 22 question

If I recall correctly Mag disconnects were developed for those that may find themselves is a struggle for control of their own gun. Like a police officer. Cops go towards trouble daily and do run a greater risk of having a physical confrontation. When a struggle occurs and a cop finds himself in...

50 round 10/22 mag by Ruger!!

Can’t you just make one of these with 2 mags and some “duck” tape?

    Which pistol for Red dot?

I also like the Ultra Dot. I have often said an Ultra Dot on my Mark II competition target is unfair to the target.
