    Ruger LC Carbine 5.7x28mm

That chambering does nothing for me. I would rather see one in .22mag or .30 carbine. Until then I will stick with 9mm.

Scope or Red Dot for Ruger PC 9 Carbine?

I slapped a cheap red dot on mine because I can't justify spending money on a good one. Works well enough. My carbine was also used and the previous owner had removed the iron sights so I had to put something on it.

    Blazer ammo

I should have said earlier that I used to use tons of the stuff when all I had were 9mm Rugers. But my 9mm CZs don't digest it well. So I have to stick with brass cased ammo.

Kahrs have slide releases on them. That is the recommended way to drop the slide when chambering a round.

40 Cal: P944, Glock or CZ?

Cheese, I owned a PCR (father of the P-01) and traded it to get a standard compact. The trigger of the latter was definitely better.

    P-Series 9mm Centerfile list

There was a P94L which had an integrally mounted laser but I am not sure if it was .40 or 9mm. The P89M was just a special run for the CPD while the P93DAO was also available to the general public.

40 Cal: P944, Glock or CZ?

I would choose a CZ-75 standard compact. The full size are a bit large for most purposes I think. The P-06 is the .40sw version of the P-01. They both are decockers and have rails. However the decocker triggers are usually far inferior to safety triggers. Versions with safeties can be...

    P-Series 9mm Centerfile list

Don't forget the various models of P944, P90, P97, P91, P345. There were some models offered with Hogue grips and had an H on the end of the model number.

    Bore snake usage

Yes pull the whole thing through. Use whatever cleaner you like.

Does the famous FBI shoot-out concern you by carrying a 9mm.

I have always looked at it this way: 9x19 has been working since 1902. It has killed a lot of people and it isn't going to stop anytime soon. And there is a reason why it is used by more militaries and police than any other handgun caliber. If they can trust it then so can I.
