The length of the ejector rod is the same on both the 2 3/4 and the 4 inch, about 1 1/4 off the front of the yoke.

I have a 2 3/4 and a 4 inch, and if I recall correctly their ejector rods are the same length. I will check this evening and report back. I assume the 4 and 6 inch are the same.

What make of handgun is this? Does it have a hammer nose? That is to say is the firing pin in the hammer and not the frame. If so maybe the bushing in the frame is wore out.
