I'm confused, it got stuck going from the breech towards the muzzle, why would you want to tap it in the same direction?

Found the Ruger with the green digi-cam stock on sale for $480... very tempted! :D

Personally, I'm much faster with 'front sight press'. It's the 'see dot' part which slows me down. Mine don't naturally come up in my line of vision. I'm sure that can be overcome with lots of practice, but I honestly don't have the time these days.

Remove the trigger group, bolt catch is part of that... make sure pin holding bolt catch and mag plunger is present, as well as the pin at the top which holds ejector and tensions bolt catch spring.

Well, my third one is at the LGS waiting for me... hopefully it works as well as the other two. Two is one, and one is none... and three? Probably a bit overboard, but for $260... these days, I think it's a bargain.

.45 ACP doesn't have enough pressure to make comps effective... part of the reason .38 Super took over USPSA and IPSC comps way back in the late 70s, early 80s.

Congrats. I picked up this TALO 31181 yesterday, on clearance, don't much care for the ATI stock, but I liked the 16" fluted and threaded target barrel. Plan to drop it in a Magpul stock I have on hand, and sell off the ATI.

Same trigger group? It is the second anchor point... rear 'lip' in the stock wedges between receiver and trigger housing, action screw is forward anchor point, make sure there isn't some debris on the bottom lug of the action, or in the stock where the screw comes thru.
