Wow, just read those articles. He was pushing the absolute "published" limit of the 41 loads. I load 210 gr JHPs on 19.2 grains of 2400 and it has some serious punch. I just don't get a warm fuzzy pushing it all the way to the book max.

The 110gr probably has a pretty light recoil. I personally prefer the Federal Hydra-shock 130 grain 357 Mag.

If the CTC overmold grips are similar to the Hogue overmolds I am using, I'm sure they are fantastic. The Hogues are far better at absorbing recoil than the factory grips, and the finger grooves keep the pistol from trying to rotate in your hand.

I have had mine for a few weeks. Put about 300 rounds through it so far and love it. The pistol is very accurate, and the trigger is as good as any other striker pistol I have shot (several Glocks, Steyr M40, Walther P99).

I ended up purchasing a Don Hume 715 for the S&W M&P compact. as noted previously, it is a perfect fit. I agree that a forward tilt would be nice, so I have already cut the clip mount off and am making the necessary modifications. I think it will be perfect.
