    7.5" Redhawk .44 mag.

I have an '84 gun, same as yours, 7.5"bbl, stainless, no ring cuts for scope. My favorite 44mag of all time. I just bought a 2021 Anaconda 6"bbl, but the Redhawk is still my favorite. Only gun on par with it, is the older S&W 629/29 guns.

Can You Handle The .44 Magnum?

I'm a recent 44mag convert, have always been a 357mag guy myself. I shot other people's 44's thru the years, even owned a 454, as handgun recoil never bothered me much. I recently picked up an unfired, older '81 Marlin 44mag, thought I should have a revolver for it, bought a minty '84 Redhawk...

Thoughts on Ruger SP101 vs Smith Model 60, 66, etc???

    Stick with the 4" K frame, 19 & 66, thank me later.😉

    GP100 6 or 7 shot?

6 shot and 4"bbl ONLY! Would go 6"bbl if it's strictly for range use.

    Reloading vs. buying factory ammo

Unless you're reloading larger calibers, 45, 44, or magnum anything, savings aren't substantial anymore, as the cost of supplies and the scumbags gouging, are making reloading less practical these days.

    223 or 556 Ammo for AR SR556?

My 584 Series Mini14 prefers 223 over 5.56, and gun is stamped 5.56 Nato. You have to try each, you're gun will tell you better than anyone on here.

    10/22 Prices WOW.

Don't despair, I found a Mint '78 Sporter Deluxe, possibly unfired, for $250 shipped, before all the Corona BS and gouging. After it all dies down, prices may be more reasonable again.
