they guy who does my reloads does use one , i want to say its either made by lee or Dillon? hes got a few different presses so im honestly not sure of the brand.
My sr9c does not like reloaded brass, it may be that the brass was shot out of a Glock and expanded the brass ever so slightly.
with the reloads i use the sr9c is the only one that wont eat it, My full size eats EVERYTHING!!!!
i have not shot much tula ammo, but i will say you will find a *TON* of metal shavings in the striker channel when you remove the striker. its normal and is from the striker hitting the primer.
well actually my grandpa did, we took it home and i taught him how to clean and lube it( even though i will be the one doing it all the time). took it to the range and put 50 target rounds down the lane and 6 HPs. not one hiccup.
him being 5'9 and 270lbs even his sr9c was hard for him to...
about a 1/3 of the ammo was mid 1980's Israeli surplus ammo.
then most of the rest was WWB and Federal walmart packs.
with the occasional Defense hollow points.
i hit the big 10,000 round mark though my SR9 a little while ago,
I was so proud of it :)
so in other words ive been shooting little over 1000 rounds a month
guys i have a question.....
on the first pictures of the internals, that plastic piece they changed....
is that plastic smooth? because mine looks really really rough.
as in if i ran a q-tip across it it would destroy the q-tip.
thanks guys
actually it still wasn't that bad. it was warm for sure..... but it wasn't bad holding it .... but saying that i wouldn't want to hold the slide or barrel for long ;)
my sr9 tonight with 5 mags and 2 friends and it was great :)
i need some more speed loaders though :D
not one FTF or any other problem in that time, it was done with WWB and Federal ammo
o yeah and my peening issue is totaly gone!! it worked itself out and now you cant even tell!!!!
so...
