    Ruger #1

Nice! I have been trying to get a production 348 No.1 for years. Would seem to be a Natural.

    No 1 264 Win Mag

Went cheaper than I thought. Didn't help the seller mislabeled it badly.

    Ruger No 1 308 availability/desirability

The fact that they have laminate stocks notwithstanding (and those can be replaced), you have to consider just how many stainless steel falling block rifles have ever been produced? With No. 1 prices going skyward, I have to believe these particular No.1's are undervalued and under appreciated...

    Ruger customer service

I have about 40 various Rugers, never needed CS. That says something right there.

    Ruger No.1 caliber wish list

Yes he does! We are fortunate to have people like him in the business, and to have him at least entertain the ideas we throw around.

    Ruger No.1 caliber wish list

Jason Cloessner emailed me a couple weeks ago that "Ruger has had the No.1 on hiatus the last couple of years with all the covid craziness." He said when they open it back up he will start talking configurations and cartridges. I have been whispering in his ear for some time for the 23" barreled...

    Ruger No.1 caliber wish list

As I have mentioned before, a 23 inch barreled 1S in 348 Winchester with a white bead front sight and red decelerator recoil pad. The perfect rifle for the way I hunt.

Basic spare parts kit for Ruger No 1

According to Clayton's book, the No. 1 has 55 parts, not exactly simple, but then again I have never heard of someone wearing one out, or parts prone to breakage. If anyone could supply a story in that regard it would be interesting to hear. I would think judicious maintenance would be the best...

    Ruger No. 1 takedown

Indeed. Solving two problems at once---how to make it, and how to make it cost effective. It has been done, I'm not sure what the man who did it spent, but he seemed to be a damned good 'smith.

    Ruger No. 1 takedown

Not just for that, possibly also to change caliber, or even a shotgun barrel like the old savage 99 did. It certainly wouldn't be for everyone.

    Ruger No. 1 takedown

Had a text chat with Lee Hadaway of The Arms Room LLC about making a takedown No. 1. Not sure how or if he would attempt it, but I wanted to gauge interest in a potential project. How do you feel about it, interesting or not? Would you buy one? At the very least, do you consider it interesting?

Well heck, I have one with a wood handguard, would like to know the answer? Bought it new in 1980.

    Lipsey’s

I know I sure missed out on a .275 Rigby. I'm not a bolt action rifle collector by any means, but that one sure would have been nice.
