I paid $125.00 for mine and was glad to get it. At the time a mint set of 5 brought $450.00 - $500.00.
All memorabilia brought a premium then, and there were plenty of bidders. ;) .

Beer has been around a long time. A stein from the first year would be pretty old. Is it from the 14th century when due to the plague they started covering drinking vessels???

This pic is dated 2002 and I still think it is a nice shot for an ancient (by digital standards) camera.

I have the 50th anniversary stein, several ashtrays and candy dishes. Mug and ashtray on eBay for $75 right now. Set of four mugs sold for $38 on an auction site. Forgot about the 50th anniversary watch too.
