I have bought many thousands of bullets from Penn Bullets, but their website is down. With a short search it was sad to read the owner, Robert Palermo, passed away in Dec. 2021. He was really on the ball!

Here's a list I found yesterday, but it's 9 years old and some of the casters are no longer in business, at least with the link provided.

I prefer Keith SWC's with a flat base as opposed to a bevel base. One company had a gorgeous FB Keith SWC 44, but they were 40¢ each + shipping:oops:

Rim Rock Bullets has a Keith at what seems a fair price nowadays.

Anyway, any cast bullet makers I should look at even if they only sell bevel based bullets? Thanks!

Rimrock makes good bullets, and often in softer alloys than some other manufacturers. One of my favorites is Desperado bullets. While I normally cast my own, I have used bullets from these two companies if I want to try a new design before buying the mould, and their quality meets my high standards.

Thanks. I use Berry's 230 RN in my 45 ACP's. I checked and it seems Lehigh only offers loaded ammo if I'm not mistaken. I took a quick look.

Not that I know of. I get their XP's to load myself. Probably one of the most vicious projectiles available.

I mostly cast my own. Have over 100 molds on the shelf. When loading for my grandsons 9mm's, I bought from a caster and powder coater just down the street from me. He only produces 9mm, .40, .357/.38, and .45 ACP. My guess is he mostly supplies the combat competition crowd.

I bought a few hundred of the 9mm and .40 because I didn't have any on the shelf.

I only have a dozen or so. I usually use spray moly on them. I lap my barrels then moly coat them and moly coat my cast bullets. My barrels hardly foul at all now.
