Been looking for one of the GP100's in 327 for a long time, and I strolled into my favorite gunshop in town, and they had one used, unfired. Price was a bit steep ($890), but the the 5 year old in me didn't really care, I had to have it now! :D I also bought the only box of 327 ammo that they had, Hornady reloading dies and the Dillon caliber conversion kit (plus a few other odds'n'ends). Now I just need to locate some brass.

So happy that I got it!

Good pickup, that is one I haven't acquired yet. Probably never will as I have about enough 32's and slowing down on buying. If you need some brass to get you going, shoot me a PM. I have a little stash and can spare a few. Have fun!

I picked up MY dream .327 last fall; a blued Single-Seven 4-5/8 bbl with the black micarta grips. That extra round could be a surprise for the "other side" if they're counting your rounds… 😉

Congratulations on a good find.

327 Federal Mag has intrigued me. But ammo availability in current times has made me table that desire for the time being. For weeks ammoseek.com has had zero results.

I've had luck finding .327 ammo at gun shows, but paid anywhere from $45-$60 for 50 rounds of Federal. Supply will eventually catch up with demand, until then I'm just not shooting the Single-Seven too often.

I just lucked into one yesterday... Came in from blowing snow and had a message from a friend who knew I was looking for a 3" GP-100 10mm...it wasn't for a 10mm but for a 4" .327...in a local shop 5 miles from me..

Called to make sure they still had it and put a hold on it... Went over an hour later... Gun was like new, not sure it had ever been fired. Guy came in with the gun and two boxes of American Eagle 100 grain SP ammo and traded it in for a .357 Magnum... No box but at $850 OTD was not going to cry....

Had one of these right after they came out and made the mistake of selling it to a friend...won't make that mistake again...

The 5" blue GP-100 in .327 is still on the Ruger website as a Distributor Exclusive...but no more stainless guns that were available in 4" and 6"...hopefully they, and the ammo, will come back.

I have the blackhawk and the single-seven 7". I love them both, but carry the single-7 as a field gun. Did a trigger spring kit. It is a dream to shoot.

...if you think $890 is steep, look at the completed auctions on GunBroker to see what people are willing to pay for these...it starts at a grand and woks up...

...and ammo is made from unobtanium... On line your $37 box of ammo is gong for $100.
LOL, I actually try very hard to not look at GB, it gives me too many ways to annihilate my bank account! :D But that makes me feel better.

About 2016 I had a chance in 2016 to get the same model used from Cabelas for $600, but passed because I just bought a 44 Mag SRH a few weeks before. I should have sucked it up, and eaten ramen for a few weeks... :D

Have been searching for ammo/brass to no avail. Hopefully Starline does another run of them soon!

I just checked starline. You can get as much .32 H&R Magnum brass that you want. In stock. The .327 can't even be back ordered.

I bought the Lipsey's 5" blued version (1769) 4-5 years ago & really like it. I'd like to get the 4" stainless model as well should they become available again. Also have a couple of S7's...The 327 Federal is a handloaders dream!

Nice find! A few years ago I decided I needed both the 4" and 6" versions of this gun, and now have both in my collection. They are quickly becoming my favorite revolvers. They are extremely accurate with both .327 and .32 H&R Magnum handloads. Handloading is really a necessity to bring out the potential in these guns.
