This caught my eye over the Christmas weekend. Smoky Mtn G&A had a good price on them, so I ordered one. Picked it up yesterday.

Now, do I go Tandemkross or Volquartsen for mods?

Just Curious, I have a 1989 MK II gov target, I have added a simple red dot and some ruger target grips. I average 92-94 shooting Off hand and unsupported on a 100 pt target. no other mods. What would one of those accuracy kits do.

If you have a well sorted out MKII GT, probably not much. However the VQ sear MIGHT lighten up your trigger pull if that is desirable to you and the trigger will allow more precise pre and post travel adjustments. The rest of the kit is just expensive fluff INMHO.

I fired a mk II that had had a lot of different things done to it, the trigger pull was so lite it was actually scary, Owner said it was fully customized, not sure what he meant but barrel was ported, grips were custom made, wierd sights installed, and that super lite trigger pull. I had to concentrate so hard on not accidentally pulling the trigger that it was not a joy to shoot. I have never measured the trigger pull on mine, I clean it regularly and have it completely gone through by a gunsmith every other year. I am completely satisfied know that i will probably never match the potential of the gun. I just enjoy shooting it.

On my 22/45 III with the VQ kit is about half that.

Certainly don't want bumble paws handling the pistol when loaded.

OH YES IT WILL............

Mobuck is on the money.....

I actually put a note in the original box just in case I sell the gun someday... I also noted that I removed the magazine safety thingie (you never want an unsuspecting shooter to have something that they THINK is something else).

Stopped at a local shop to see if they had magazines and cost if so, $30 is a bit steep. I burned a $100 gift card on two 2 packs from gun mag warehouse dot com. I think that was 1.80 short of using the full amount on the card.

Just my limited experience but I've never seen G of Guns to be cheapest.
Their niche is having an item others don't …. At least in my book.
