Looking for advice - Is there a replacement front and rear fiberoptic sights that would fit a Ruger .22 semiauto pistol, model MK-II with 4 1/2 inch tapered barrel. The front sight blade looks to be held in place by a pin.

Welcome to the Forum!
It sounds as if you have a "Standard Auto" model of the MKII. Those were built with fixed sights,,, and due to the taper of the barrel,, it requires a higher front blade. Just adding an adjustable rear sight will not allow the gun to shoot to point of aim.
And nobody has made a fiber optic set of sights for the MKII. Fiber optics became popular after the change to the MKIII etc.

HOWEVER,, way back when,,, a company called "Ram-Line" made a replacement set of sights to go from a Standard (fixed) set of sights to an adjustable set. The sight set came with black, white, and orange colored plastic inserts to be used in their system.

Sadly,, they have been out of production for many years.

Good news. If you really want a set,, I happen to have (1) complete set in it's original baggie with instructions etc for sale. PM me if interested.

yes, and Brownells sold an "LPA" ( Low profile adjustable) that used the front blade of the standard autos....you would have to contact such as Hi Viz and see what they have to offer....doubt it as not a lot of call to make something for out of date guns.........

I spoke with Hi_Viz several years ago at SHOT about the idea. No interest,, for the exact reason mentioned. Low sales. If a person wants adjustables,, they said; "Buy a different model."

The OP was asking about a fiberoptic sight, not an adjustable one. I'm not aware that anyone has made a fiberoptic sight for any generation of Ruger Standard .22 pistol. You can probably have a gunsmith make you a custom front sight ($$$) or you can take a practical and cost effective solution and just paint the front sight.
