Will Desantis Doc Holliday Holster Fit My Flattop?

Anybody here know if the Desantis Doc Holliday holster will fit the new Ruger Flattop Blackhawk revolver? I would like to carry my new Flattop 357 in the field in a cross draw holster and the Doc Holliday holster seems to like a good holster for the job... if it will fit the revolver. I was told that new Vaquero will fit but nobody seems to know if the flattop Blackhawk will fit. Hate to spend $50 on a holster and then find out it won't fit.

It really depends on how closely it is fitted for the Colt SAA or New Vaquero. If it's well-fitted for fixed sights, the flat-top won't fit. I cut my Blackhawk holsters with a little more room for the topstrap, plus the taller front sight.

Look at simply rugged sourdough holster. I have one for my flattop .45. Great holster

I'd just give Desantis a call. Afterall, they have gun molds on hand so they can check the fit for you.
