Maybe for $100-$200 it would be worth it if it still shoots fine. I just wonder what other potential damage there could be when the barrel has experienced such trauma.

There is no way to find a replacement barrel in Europe. New Blackhawks cost around $900 in Germany, thus there is no sense to spend hundreds of dollars repairing a used one.
In that respect, I agree that the best approach is a new revolver. Before you buy it, get somewhere plug gauge like this one http://www.keyence.com/img/products/model/AS_3487_L.jpg in .452" dia, or ask somebody to make one (11,48mm dia) and make sure that it will go through all chambers in cylinder. Blackhawk 45 is notorious for undersized cylinder bores that will ruin accuracy. Another very common issue with almost all large bore revolvers is constriction of the barrel in threaded area. See how it could be fixed http://www.beartoothbullets.com/tech_notes/archive_tech_notes.htm/59 . Results are dramatic; groups from 7-8" on 25 yards, to around 1".

CAUTION: Unless you really know what are you doing, I would not recommend opening bores as shown in the article. A good machinist should have expandable reamer like this one https://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/880x660/Primary/121/121541.jpg .
