I'm a sucker for Colts, .32-20s (and other .32s), and guns that are well-used but in exc. mechanical condition and thus good for shooting and carrying instead of being safe queens....did I mention affordable? Found a 6" blue Colt Army Special in .32-20 WCF with about 85% of the old bright blue, made in 1909. Tight with a shiny, sharp bore and intact black hard rubber factory grips. Shows signs of quite bit of carrying but still handsome and all original.
I've been wanting to retire my 1910-vintage Bisley .32-20, and this is a good candidate for its replacement, I hope. I'll probably stick to Black Hills "Cowboy" .32-20 factory loads for this as I have with the Bisley. And use their great Starline cases for hotter reloads in my Win Lowall, the .32-20 barrel for my G2 Contender Carbine, and my NM Blackhawk .30 Carbine (a GREAT .32-20!).
