Excellent condition 1979-80 model 36 with square butt frame. .38 special 5 shot revolver. Solid lock-up and timing. Excellent bluing with just a few minor blems. This one is kind of rare. It has an orange insert in the front sight. My research revealed this is something the S&W factory use to do for walk-in customers. But I have no idea who added it. Looks professionally done. I bought this used, so I don't know the round count. I put a few cylinders of ammo through it after purchase. Doesn't seem to have been shot much. Grips serial number to the gun. Includes Robertson Trading T-Grip. Gun only, nothing else.
