This is another of my brother in-law's guns he wants me to sell. His dad was a 35 year employee of S&W and went with him to pick this up so that he would get the employee discount. He doesn't recall specifically when that was, his dad may have already been retired. He said he can't remember ever firing this gun because he preferred 20 gauge shotguns with slugs for deer and never hunted birds. When I got it home, I went through the box and couldn't find the choke wrench and he couldn't remember ever seeing one, so whether it got lost or never came with one, it is not present. He remembers the manual going missing long ago when it got mixed in with some other papers his wife tossed out, so he recently printed one from the internet. Looks like it has everything else it is supposed to have, including a mag plug and 4 shims for adjusting cast and pitch. 28" barrel with red fiber bead. The full choke must be the one that is installed and there is an empty container for that.
