Are you sure it's not "1 of 5000" instead of 1 of 500?

I'm not aware of any 1 of 500 series guns that came out in 1982 but there's a whole bunch of things I don't know.

Check the "0"s. I have the 1348th one in that run. I don't believe that there was a 1 of 500 made in the "Signature" model.
