My understanding the early production LCR 9mm had an issue of shooting very low. Did Ruger fix this issue over the years?

I'll try this again. Those who have a LCR 9mm at what distance is the POA/POI regulated?
My early model LCR .22lr was shooting far too high-5" at 10 yards. I sent it in to Ruger and they replaced the front sight. Ruger sent me a target showing POA/POI being 7 yards. I shot it today with 40 gr CCI mini mags, Rem. 38 gr Golden Bullets and Agular 40 gr HV. The point of impact was regulated for 3 yards! At 7 yards it was 3/4" high and at 10 yards it was 3" high. Does anyone have any experience with the POA/POI with the LCR .22lr as well as with the 9mm?
