If you are looking for a chest holster for your gun I would like to recommened the Elite Survival Systems HN45BL. This company formerly known as Survival Systems produces outstanding holsters. The HN45Bl will fit Rugers single and double action up to a six inch barrel. If you do not mind that the barrel hangs out 1/2 inch it will also fit the 6-1/2 Blackhawk. The best is American made, low price and that the holster is always in stock instead of having to wait 2-3 month .

Ditto, on David Johnson at www.diamonddcustomleather.com. I can't say enough about it. The best design I have worn in years. Just wish I could afford one for all my handguns. :D

+3 on the Diamond D Custom Leather Company. I have a Diamond D Custom Chest Holster also for my Ruger Bisley .44 Mag & .45 Colt revolvers and it is well made and works well!

A friend made a chest holster for a .357 Blackhawk by modifying a copy of the military chest holster for the .45 New Service revolver. Did a good job and it fits the bill quite nicely. Not "custom maker" and probably not American made originally but very effective. Some guy snagged it from him and a .38 M&P from the 20's fits better than expected. He also rigged up a slider 12 rnd cartridge holder to fit at the left shoulder. Nice. Tho I am a flap-holster weak-side carry guy I have to admit it rides up out of the way and doesnt interfere with layin on the ground or using a rifle.
