Serial number 16790, shipped to Sports, Inc., Chicago, IL in June 1959. The original grips were replaced with ivories by Nutmeg Sports (circa 2001). The box is numbered to the revolver and all the documents are present.

Doc! It doesn't get much better then that. To find a Flattop in that great of shape with box and shipper, which by the way is in great shape also. That is extremely rare. What a great find!!!!!!!

Doc, you never cease to amaze both with your guns and your photography skills. I have an old Flat top I had Jim fit one piece ivories to after Jim Stroh trimmed the barrel to 5 1/2", installed his front sight, a Bowen rear and one of David Clements bisley spurred hammers. The one piece grips required a steel two piece grip frame form Ron Powers as well but I like to think it is one of my classiest if not understated customs.
