A "J Bird" Sunset

Son's SNJ-4 "J Bird" the evening before the "Wings Over South Texas Airshow" at NAS Corpus Christi where he is the Commodore of Training Wing 4.

Taken the next day by a friend and his comment.

Possibly the "next" Capt. Trey Hayden; loving the smile of a young man sitting in the pilot's seat of a vintage warbird !!!

Thanks Guys,

Rick, Chad is real close to being qualified in J Bird. Now that he is home from Texas A&M for the summer I'm sure it will happen. He will also be working on getting his Commercial License. He passed the written last summer with a 95 , but no time to finish the flying part. Even thou he has 600-700 hours he needs some night and instrument time for the Commercial.
By the way that isn't Chad in J Bird, just a Kid that wanted to sit in the plane.

To all my Pilot friends, these pictures show why we take 7yr olds flying. Marcus wants to be the next Rob Holland, so he did loops, rolls, and roller coasters today on his 1st flight. Great day of flying!

Trey really tries to support the future of aviation. That future are the kids.
