From Bill Ruger's personal collection, this No. 1 has the original Ruger split rings, no "S" on the safety, no "Govt" stamped after the 4570 roll marks. Serial number 4611 shows the earliest known checkered pattern. This No. 1 was made prior to the first known run of 50 guns in 45-70 cal., more than likely ordered up from the production line by Bill R. and left on his desk in the am as requested. The rifle came from Bill Rugers grandson Kurt "Ruger" Vogel".

This a complete exhibit of all variations of the Ruger Wrangler with the many colors and configurations, including holsters by Ruger. What an incredible collection of all things Wrangler.

Ruger Salad

This was my attempt to show an array of Ruger revolvers, from their first, to one of their last. When a feller thinks it's time to pare down his collection, it speaks volumes seeing what he ultimately decides to keep.
