The 9.5" old model Single Sixes represented a fairly low percentage of production and are scarce today. The first 9.5" (model RSS9) revolvers were made in 1959 and this one dates to 1960 and is a single (LR) cylinder gun (the convertible models did not appear until 1961 in the 162xx serial range). It is not converted, has the XR3 grip frame with the black synthetic checkered grips, and is in very good condition with a few light blemishes. There is a minor cylinder line, some light blue loss at the tip of the steel ejector rod housing, a scratch on the barrel below the rollmark, some freckling at the left muzzle, and a few other areas of scuffs and light freckling as shown. Should rate at around 95% condition.

$835 shipped FFL to FFL (sorry, no C&R shipping since I use USPS and postal regulations prohibit handgun shipments to C&Rs)
