What is the vintage of the barrel? I have early receivers and know, only topically, of the multi-generational stuff with "fitting".........

This is one of the earler, high-polish barrels for the '83 Aristocrat rifles, but it fits perfectly on my '87 Hunter frame too. I have had a few barrels over the years and have never heard of an interchangability issue. I do know that there were some problems with the lock-up when using the magnum chambered barrels, and TC did a retrofit of the locking bolt then stamped the receivers "MAG". Not an issue with this barrel.
