Finally purchased an LCP after shopping for about a year - was waiting for the price to come down, but apparently the popularity has kept them all a little above $300 in my area. Took it home, cleaned the guts (lots of grease, like usual for Ruger) and shot about 50 rounds of various brands and types of range ammo. One FTE in the second mag, none after that. I was pleasantly surprised at how manageable the recoil was, and how accurate it was. After finding the sights, I was hitting 6/6 on a paper plate easily at 20ft and less, hit 3or4 out of 6 at distances out to 50ft. The mag extension helped immensely with the grip - I can't imagine anyone liking the magazine without the extension. VERY long, but smooth, trigger pull, just like reported. So far I'm very happy with the little pocket gun. My full size SR9 felt HUGE after handling the LCP. A couple more range trips, then some SD ammo, and I'm on my way.

I'm glad you like yours, I sure like mine! I don't care for the pinky extention. No problem, they can be easily changed from one to the other. So many choices...

I don't have an LCP but I love the pinky extension on my SR9c. I shot my friends Springfield XDm Compact without the pinky extension and it just wasn't comfortable in my hands. I couldn't get a good grip on it.

I like the LCP too, great little pistol. I carry the LC9 most of the time in warm weather, but sometimes the LC9 is too big and the LCP will work anytime anywhere.

Can't really imagine being without the LCP. The LCP makes carry possible in virtually any scenario. Can't always carry the big bangers, but you can always carry an LCP...even on the beach.
