No, they are both Lipsey's exclusives if you are referring to the 10mm/40 cal convertible but may not be currently in stock with them. Ruger does not always list every dealer exclusive. Both models have been out around 3-4 years now.

I have a Buckeye exclusive Blackhawk in 38/40-10MM. In a strong gun like the Blackhawk, the 10MM can be handloaded to impressive ballistics. 8)

Is the 4-5/8 a rare bird?
Currently no. As noted, both the 4-5/8" and 6-1/2" barrel lengths were made as a limited run for a distributor (Lipseys). When they were still in stock they could be found for just under $600. They can still be found fairly easily, but prices have creeped up.

The Buckeye 10mm/.38-40 Blackhawks made in '90 or '91 can also still be found pretty easily, but asking price is usually $1200-1300. I always like the idea of a 10mm single action revolver, just for fun. But that was more than I cared to pay for one. So when the Lipseys 10mm/.40 revolvers were released, I jumped on one.

With the long cylinder, you can also load to a longer OAL, ending up with something between "regular" 10mm and 10mm Mag.

I have pushed a 180 gr. bullet to over 1400 fps, and still had room to go farther. I expect I could get over 1500 without pushing the gun. But in the end, if I need more power, I will use a revolver with a larger bore.
