Here is a Vaquero birdshead in 45 LC. Gun is in excellent condition though there is a small hairline crack in the right grip.
Work done by Clements included a new "45 Colt" marked 4" un-tapered barrel, serrated front sight, crescent ejector, correct cylinder throats and polish chambers, new pawl and correct endshake (recommended by Dave after he received the gun). I also sent him a blued SBH hammer for it but he didn't charge as it didn't require any fitting . . . love these hammers and they can be hard to find. I have the original hammer as well somewhere if you want it.
It's tight as a bank vault and a pleasure to shoot, even with heavy loads the birdshead rolls nicely. The Clements Custom Guns work total was $696.80.
