It just baffles me how a lot of people just don't see true collectability for some things. The Ruger company is one of them.

Its no wonder there were no bids on this one...looks just like any other BNV-455.
If a collector were looking through the Vaquero auctions and happened to see that the gun was indeed Jim Carmichael's #13 and the 13th Vaquero ever made, then they might actually get that $1,100. No reason to look further when the title only says "RUGER VAQUERO .45 LC cal". All people see is the price.

Carmichael's previous ownership of that gun is mentioned in the tiny fine print in the description of the gun way down at the bottom of the ad where nobody ever goes.

The ad headline should have read "Jim Carmichael's Vaquero!!!!!!" and that might have stirred things up a bit.
