A fixed-sight 6" 9mm is what you're after?

FWIW, my OM convertible shoots 125gr 357M to the same point of impact at 25' as the 9mm cylinder w/most 147gr bullets.
Shooting 38SPL is anyone's guess where the bullets will group on a given day.
I wish Ruger had made at least one dedicated 38SPL revolver with target accuracy.
But that is apparently what the K-frames are for!

The 147 gr. Bullet might be the key to the accuracy question. I'm still looking for a barrel for the Speed Six...4, 5 or 6" would be fine.
Sooner or later, one will show up.
