I put a 4", Security-Six on layaway yesterday. Beautiful gun that may or may not have been fired (outside the factory). If it has, it hasn't been fired much. Almost no turn line, and no holster wear. Anyway, the S/N (150-223XX) falls into the 1972 range, as best I can tell. I was wondering what type box it would have come in? I wouldn't mind having a period box for it, if I can find one at a decent price.

(We all like pictures, so here's a picture of my "other" Security-Six from 1975.)

Probably the white box with hinged lid and inside "cut-out" the shape of the gun.

Pony up!!
