They don't. When I got my EC9s, I didn't really care much one way or the other about having the manual safety and mag disconnect. Since I've had it, I've grown to actually like having them. Although I carry it with the safety off, it's nice having a little more peace of mind when I can drop the mag before unholstering it with one in pipe. I know a lot of people hate having these safeties on this type of pistol so YMMV.

I've had a LC9s for a couple years now and don't really mind the safety...
Thought about buying a EC9s for a backup, and just thought having one
without a safety would be nice....

the safety is very easy to remove.

While this may be the case, the safety on these guns is rather small and fairly stiff so they can be carried with the safety disengaged with little chance of it accidentally engaging on the draw.

Has anyone actually had their safety engage on the draw IRL? :?
Please post!

I agree s4s4u, I don't notice the safety, having seen a CCW gun snatch years ago and it has never left me. I find the LC series to have a very stiff safety lever anyway, and dont mind it at all.
