 Post subject: SR9c: Keeps On Ticking

Put a few more rounds through the SR9c, no problems at all. I can shoot double taps alot fast with the SR9c that I can with my Glock 19. Ruger got it right with this model.

Hey Ridge I see you have a LC9 how do you like that. I just recently got my permit and the gun ive practiced with prior to getting my permit was the sr9c which I just bought for myself a few days ago. My fiance is waiting on her permit and we have looked at the LC9 for her cause of size but are local gun store said it had a very long trigger pull and not that accurate. Whats your feeling on the LC9?

I shot the LC9 prior to buying an SR9c. I did not like the trigger, and did not care for the muzzle flip. It was accurate enough, but I felt it would have been a chore shooting it at the range. I have no problems carrying my SR9c concealed. I really enjoy taking it to the range. Not as accurate as my Mark I, but then I don't expect it to be. It shoots very, very well for a concealable weapon IMO.

The LC9 is a very accurate gun for it's size. The person at the gun store should have told you that a shooter has more dificulty being accurate with it due to the long DAO trigger. If you've shot a revolver in Double Action you know what I'm talking about. I don't feel the trigger is that bad though. Staging the trigger while your shooting helps alot. It's great for concealed carry due to it's size and weight.

I love my LC9 for what it is, a fantastic summer EDC. As Ridge1976 said, practice alot staging the trigger and you'll love it.
