Picked up a 9622 in .22LR today, very nice first year production gun. :D

Trigger leaves something to be desired, will have to work on that some.

The rifle looks like it was bought, shot once and then stashed in a closet for the last 16 years. Condition is +99% it looks almost new.

Going to try to find a manual and will be getting a scope mount soon.

You can down load a manual off the Ruger web site

Nice find. I am looking for one casually myself, but will not pay the "collector" price some are commanding.

WOW  I am shocked.

I just took this rifle down to clean it and do a trigger job.

It is Unbelievably clean there is no sign that it was ever used.

Trigger is still heavy but its now smooth and reasonable crisp. Now having second thoughts about using it.

I found one in a pawn shop in the same condition you describe a couple of years ago. I paid about $148 for it then and
never regretted it. I added a threaded barrel with suppressor and it is one incredibly accurate and quiet nail driver!

Lever gun looks weird with a can on it.... Nice, but weird.

A can is exactly why I want a lever action, and I am not sure I can thread a 39a.

No more weird than a 10/22 with a lever sticking out of the bottom. Sorry, but it's true. I know...taste is subjective. I'm sure it's a fun piece though.

ANYTHING can be threaded. I have a Browning BLR .22. The problem with threading it is the same with most lever guns, the magazine tube. In order to load the magazine, you have to remove the suppressor. I've been trying to find someone who can duplicate the quick detach threads like those used in the AAC Prodigy shown above. My lever gun barrel is a standard 1/2 x 28 thread, but then I have no need to quickly detach the suppressor on this gun.

My thoughts were shooting CB longs. Might look into a suppressor at some point down the road.
