There were several who were interested in the electronic ear protection that I brought. The set is called MSA Sordin Supreme Pro IV Electronics Earmuffs. I got mine on E-Bay. Should either be more there or else try to google this. Good luck. Hank

Howdy Rich. Yes he did. Megan had packed it in a place that he had not looked. He is offshore now, but asked me to tell you and all of the others how much he enjoyed meeting and shooting with all of you. He was a lifesaver for me when I started feeling badly. Good kid. Take care my friend, Hank

That's a relief, Hank. I know he was a bit concerned he might have let in fall in the outhouse or something. You are right - he is a real nice gentleman. I really enjoyed talking with him over dinner about fracking. :)

We drove from Farmington, NM through the Four Corners today and on into Price, UT. We may make it all the way to Rigby, ID tomorrow to visit w/family. Yesterday's drive was a real Rosie, from Roswell, NM through a nasty dust storm most of the way through New Mexico and through the Navaho reservation. I swear that even Jackrabbits pack a lunch when driving across that desert!

I did enjoy seeing the 4 Corners monument. Even since I read a Louis Lamour novel, The Haunted Mesa, I've been curious about the area (and the spirits). I guess I can cross that one off my bucket list.

I know some of these guys here have been ribbing Ol' Wyandot, but I got to say this - only a true blue freind would clean your black powder revolver for a guy. Thanks again, Jim. I was just too tired and needed to drink a cold beer and chat with the ladies. . . :)

I'll post some pictures of my brother-in-law's gun club's old western town after He and I go out there. I can't wait to shoot that 1,000 yard range with my CAR and the 6-24 X scope.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. And yes, Jim is a class act. Glad that you took the trip. I will be heading your way in the not too distant future. Hank

Capn27 - make sure you check that air filter first chance you get. I went through a sand/dust storm years back and a week later the engine kept dying, filter was just about completely stopped up.

Hi,

Rich, if you're in Rigby today, an e-mail from a dear friend this morning said she's baking cookies! Kinda like telling WJ where the free beer is, it's probably best to leave her location undisclosed. But if you can find her, they're GOOD, too! :D

Have a safe trip the rest of the way, too!

Rick......

My sister-in-law said that it's okay if you'll tell her name! Like many (most) folks in Rigby, she and her family are Mormon, so Linda and I are making do with instant coffee stolen from motels we've stayed in on this trip. A fresh, hot cookie would really improve things. . .

Hi,

Sorry, Rich, can't seem to raise her this morning to see if she's got extra cookies to share! Son may have a ball game...

I 'spose living w/o a cookie is doable, but no "real" coffee on top of that? That's gotta be torture!

Rich,

Just so yuh know. Most, if not all of the Mormons I know are pretty tolerant us us folks who aren't. I guess you already know that. I have a couple of coffee presses that make excellent coffee, even in a motel. Instant coffee not requried. I use medium dark Folgers. Water just off the boil, into the press, wait four minutes, press, and you have a great cup of coffee. All you need is a microwave and a container to heat the water in. I have two glass presses; one that will hold a regular mug and one that will hold three mugs worth.

Have a great trip. I'm looking forward to my next trip. That one will be to Colorado. Then in July to western Washington.
