Has anyone tried the 44 mag ammo made by Randy Garrett? I have used his 45-70 +P loads and can tell you they are great. I am thinking about ordering some 310 gr +P for bear defense. Check out their website for his penetration research and customer trophies.

I have never heard anything but top marks about his custom cartridges since he first started offering them to the public, and I think that was back in the 1980's.
