I saw one in a local store today that just came in this morning and he wouldn't tell me his price but it was for sale for 750.00.
Did these go up in price or is that about right?

Best price I heard of recently was $600. $669 - $699 seems common if you can find one. They are going for over $800 on some of the gun auction sites. $750 is reasonable IF someone is willing to pay that price.

Now that the historical significance of the 100th anniversary has passed, I would imagine people would be willing to wait longer for the price to drop as Ruger catches up with demand, or if they are not loyal Ruger fans they'll just buy a different brand. Maybe demand will slacken some, too. You never know.

Mine was 629.99 plus tax. No way I would even pay 700.00 for one. Chances are the one's from 2011 are gone which I would have liked to have gotten. My S/N range is in the 141xx range so I'm sure it's a 2012 model. Not that it really mattered that much to me one way or another. I have seen some where people posted shops having them for 669.00. Once the market gets flooded with them prices I'm sure will stablize.

Seems like the NE has gotten more than their fair share of them.

MSRP is $799.00 ... Even $750 is less than MSRP, which (IMO) still isn't a terrible deal. I paid 799 OTD for mine last year and have no regrets whatsoever. They're a darned nice pistol!

I paid $639.00 + tax @ my LGS this month.

A gunbroker search of recently completed auctions shows the average auction price is $800 to $850, though a few have paid $900 + shipping.

This must be about the 10Th time I've seen this topic in this forum hashed out. If you don't have the money to buy one then don't, but don't rag on the ones that do. IMHO

I paid $669.95 plus sales tax back on 5/7/2011.
It is the same price today at the same place.
And if I had to do it all over again, I would.

I paid $645 last May. The same shop is still getting them, as he did all through last year, and he's still selling them at $645.

The dealer who's list I was on finally got one in, he had it at a gun show this morning listed at $899!!!! Un real, when I put my name on the list he quoted me $679. I couldn't believe it when I walked by his table 20 min after the show opened it was gone and he got $899 +tax.

So, he basically blew you off, huh? I'd find another dealer to do business with.
