Has anyone did this to a Super Redhawk? If so what is the best way and how did it turn out?

I saw a picture of one once that was bead blasted and it looked very good. Just a dull stainless finish as if it had been a regular finish to begin with. 8) 8)

I have one with Jim Stroh getting the barrel shortened and other things done to it including a bead blast finish. I should get it back in a week or two - I'll post a thread with pics at that time.

I have also read that Flitz metal polish will remove the target gray finish.

I like the finish on the 44mag models and this is what I am looking to do.

Yep flitz will take it right off if you want to end up with a shiny stainless when your done. Not something I wanted to find out :x
