I can't respond to any PMs - "You tried to send a private message to too many recipients." I don't know how I can respond to less than one! Flatgate, I couldn't even PM you. Can you fix this?

I don't see my signature anymore either.

Sorry guys - Mike@ arizonaarmsllc.com or acrylictnk@aol.com with your questions

Flatgate passes away some time back :(

I'll put this in the Ruger Forum Office where it will be seen more by the people who might be able to help you.

Mike,

Am I correct that you've done all the usual maintenance stuff?

Clear browser history, cookies, run things like Ad-Aware, AVG, etc.? Log out and then log back in?

Another member (Snake45??) had a similar problem some months ago and I can't remember what happened with his.

Go to "user control panel" and then "board preferences". Make sure you have all the correct boxes checked.

All correct, nothing works. I guess I can't post any deals in Classifieds until somebody fixes this.

What a mess, been on here for nearly 15 years.

Hmmm, I know when your inbox is full you can't get PM's but not sure whether that would effect sending them. Try deleting a few old messages and see if that helps any.

Go to "User Control Panel"

Then Profile

Then Edit Account Settings

Change your password there and whatever you do ..... do NOT use the password you typed above. If you use that password, every person on the WWW will know how to log on as Glassfixer!

Still no answer to my problem - I've been on the Forum for many years and it seems a shame that I cant answer any PMs. What is going on here ?

Probably a bug in the old software. I know a couple other older forums where this type of thing happens. Guys can receive and reply but not initiate PM's.

Sending you one now as a test
