Use Imgur or another hosting site and follow their instructions. They're all a tad different.

1) Put your image on a site that is up 24/7, and write down the FULL . . . URL.

2) Use the "IMG" tag from the message input screen: Right now it has:
Bold, Italicized, Underlined, Quote, Code, List, List=, Asterisk, Img and URL.
If you put the URL of your picture in the URL brackets, the people wanting to see
your picture will need to click on it, to display. If you use the IMG tag the picture
will be displayed as part of your post.

3) Submit the post (AFTER you use the Preview button to see if you entered the
correct URL, . . . AND . . . have the picture sized correctly!). I recommend a
maximum of 700 pixels for the larger value in height/width. There are a plethora
of picture manipulation software available, depending on your system
configuration/operating-system (usually the "Scale" option).

To those that want just a point and click . . . . RTFM (Read The Funny Manual) for
your system/operating-system). Specifics vary significantly with your OS and the
level of your OS (Operating System).

P.S. Since I have my own web site, the vast majority of mine use the URL for
my site followed by a slash ( / ) and the file name (pictureName.extension).
