I have sent a couple of PMs in the last week and I noticed they are not immediately sent. They sit in the Outbox for a while and then they get sent. Is there a reason for this? I sent a PM exactly one hour ago and it is still in the Outbox.

They leave your outbox only when they've been read by the recipient.
