A few years ago I was engaged in a discussion regarding global warming in a thread within which I mentioned Ancient Lake Cahuilla. I believe this was in the Gun Control and Other Political Issues forum but it may also have been in The Lounge forum. I've tried to search for this post, or actually, I believe it was several posts that I made in that one thread. I've searched using my username and "Cahuilla" and also using just "cahuilla" with no success. I'd like to recover the research I did on this and share it with some individuals (no association with RugerForum.com). The question is how far back do the searches go and is there any other way to search this or is it lost forever? Thanks.

Try Bing or Google? use "site:rugerforum.com global warming Cahuilla"

Thanks. Tried something similar before I posted this no luck. I did go ahead and tried your search term "rugerforum.com global warming Cahuilla" and no luck there either.

Threads in Politics are only kept about 30 days, maybe 6 weeks.

Once they're deleted .... they're gone for good.

Thanks. I was afraid of something like that. Guess I'll have to re-research it then...oh well, was worth a try.
