First of all I want to thank all of you for all the help, support and prayers you have given John and Beverly Gallagher these last few months as he winds down his shop work and battles cancer. They are so overcome with gratitude from all the prayers and support. I think I shared that John was been more worried about Beverly than he has been about himself simply because she has been caring for him, his bedridden mom who is in a nearby nursing home and her father who has been battling cancer in Bozeman. A couple of weeks ago her dad passed away literally while he was talking to Beverly on the phone. She made the trip to Montana but as much as John wanted to accompany her, she did not want to put that stress on him so he stayed home while she dealt with the arrangements for her dad. John traveled last Wednesday to the airport to pick Beverly up after her trip to Montana and according to him, he did his best to take care of himself while she was gone.

John had a long time friend come to the house during hunting season a cuple weeks ago and John set him up in a stand and the friend shot a deer which John and he were able to clean and wrestle back to the shop but John said as much as he enjoyed watching his friend get the deer, it about wore him out. I am sure John was wishing he could go hunting at least one more time as well but his main concern was getting his friend set up to shoot a buck.

Apparently John has a good friend and frequent rifle customer who has some property in Tennessee with good deer numbers and he invited John to come hunt whitetail. Since the friend is a cancer specialist and is fully versed on John's condition and limitations they decided to see if John could make at least one more hunt. John elected to use the long cylinder octagon bisley 44 Mag I sent back to him a few weeks ago and I will be darned if he didn't send me a picture of himself with a nice buck he shot with the gun! I didn't recognize John in the picture so I asked if it really was him and he said it was, just 75# lighter and missing most of his hair from the treatments. Still, the smile on his face was worth a thousand words to me. He sent a video as well but I need to try and figure out how to view it and share it to. Here is John with his buck he shot at 55 yards with the bisley pushing a 300 grain JSP.

It does not get any better than this in my book!

Thank you for sharing...it is great that he was able to get out and hunt. And he was rewarded with a nice buck.

God bless John...may he win this battle and have many more hunting trips.

Let us all be thankful for our situations and continue to pray for John as we prepare to celebrate the greatest gift ever given.....

You have to have your pictures on a third party program like Imgur or Photobucket. Once you have them there you simply go to the picture you want to copy, on the right side of the photo there is usually a menu and one of the options will say copy. Copy the image then once you start to make a post type in all your wording then drop down a line and right click on your mouse and then click paste off the ensuing drop down menu. You won't see the pictre but you sill se the pictures home address. Click preview the post and you should see what your post will look like including the picture. If it is what you want then click post and it is done.
